Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between Multiply Mission LLC ("Multiply," "we," "us," or "our") and you. They cover your use of our website at multiplymission.org and the services we provide to churches and ministries, including the sermon experiences we build and host for them (together, the "Services").
If you are agreeing to these Terms for a church or ministry, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization. By using the Services, you also agree to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Services.
Faith-Based Services: Multiply serves churches and the people they disciple. We ask everyone who uses the Services to conduct themselves in a way that honors biblical values and reflects Christian integrity.
1. Definitions
- "Church" means the church, ministry, seminary, network, or other organization that partners with Multiply under a Plan.
- "Administrator" means the pastor, leader, or staff member the Church names to work with us and make decisions about its partnership.
- "Participant" means anyone who uses an Experience a Church offers through Multiply, such as a member, visitor, or online viewer. Participants do not create accounts with Multiply.
- "Experience" means a web-based discipleship experience we build for a Church, such as a sermon page, the Ministry Fit assessment, a New Member Journey, or a Testimony Library.
- "Church Content" means the sermons, video, audio, text, images, logos, and other material a Church gives us.
- "Participant Content" means the responses, reflections, testimonies, and other information a Participant chooses to submit through an Experience.
- "Plan" means the plan, standalone system, or sponsored rate a Church selects, as described in Section 3.
- "Term" has the meaning in Section 4.1.
2. Eligibility
2.1 Age Requirements
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you are between 13 and 17, you need permission from a parent or guardian. The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them, consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
2.2 Churches
To partner with Multiply, a Church must:
- Give us accurate and complete information, and keep it current
- Name an Administrator with authority to make decisions for the Church
- Keep any administrator links, reports, or access we provide limited to the people who should have them
- Tell us promptly if it learns of any unauthorized access
2.3 Participants
Participants do not need an account to use an Experience. Participants agree to give accurate information when they choose to share it and to use Experiences for their intended purpose: spiritual growth and discipleship. Information a Participant submits may be visible to their Church, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
2.4 Starting a Partnership
Every partnership begins with a conversation. We may decline to begin a partnership that is not a good fit for the Church or for Multiply.
3. Plans, Pricing, and Payment
3.1 Plans
Our current published Plans are:
- Starter: $10,800 per year, or $900 per month.
- Growth: $18,000 per year, or $1,500 per month. Includes one network nomination (Section 3.3).
- Impact: Custom partnership for seminaries, conferences, networks, and multi-site churches, set out in a separate written agreement.
What each Plan includes is described on our pricing page and in any proposal we send you.
3.2 Standalone Systems
A Church may start with a single system instead of a Plan:
- Ministry Fit: $250 per month, or $3,000 per year.
- New Member Journey: $400 per month, or $4,800 per year. Ministry Fit is included.
- Testimony Library: $325 per month, or $3,900 per year.
Standalone systems are offered one at a time. Adding a second system means moving to a Plan.
3.3 Sponsored Rate (The Multiplication Covenant)
Each Growth Church may nominate one church. A nominated church that we accept receives Ministry Fit plus one more system of its choice (New Member Journey or Testimony Library) at $75 per month. Additional sponsorships are available at $1,800 per year each. The sponsored rate is available only to churches nominated this way.
3.4 No Setup Fee
We do not charge a setup or onboarding fee for any Plan, standalone system, or sponsored rate.
3.5 Which Price Applies
The price in your written proposal, order confirmation, or agreement applies. If there is none, the price on our pricing page on the day your Term begins applies. Your price does not change during a Term. We may change prices for future Terms by giving you at least 60 days' notice before your renewal date.
3.6 Payment
- Annual billing: The full year's fee is due at the start of each Term.
- Monthly billing: Fees are charged monthly, in advance.
- Payment methods: We accept major credit and debit cards and ACH transfers, and we can invoice annual Plans.
- Processing: Payments are handled by third-party payment processors. We do not store full card numbers.
3.7 Late Payments
If a payment is more than 15 days late, we may pause the Services after giving notice, until the account is current. A pause does not change the length of your Term.
3.8 Taxes
Prices do not include taxes. If your Church is exempt from sales tax, please send us your exemption certificate.
3.9 One-Time Purchases
Some offerings, such as a Sermon Gift, are purchased once at the price shown at checkout. They are not subscriptions and do not renew. If we cannot build or deliver a one-time purchase, we will refund it in full. Once delivered, a one-time purchase is nonrefundable.
3.10 Changing Plans
A Church may move to a larger Plan at any time. The new price applies from the next billing date, and a new 12-month Term begins on that date. A move to a smaller Plan or system takes effect at your next renewal.
4. Term, Renewal, and Ending a Partnership
4.1 Term
Every Plan, standalone system, and sponsored rate runs for a 12-month term (the "Term"). The Term begins on the date in your agreement or, if none is stated, the date your first Experience goes live. This is true whether you pay annually or monthly: monthly billing is a way to pay for the Term, not a month-to-month arrangement.
4.2 Renewal
Each Term renews for another 12 months unless either party gives written notice at least 30 days before the Term ends. We will email your Administrator a reminder at least 45 days before each renewal date.
4.3 Ending at Renewal
To end your partnership at the close of a Term, email support@multiplymission.org at least 30 days before the Term ends. The Services continue through the last day of the Term.
4.4 Ending Early for Cause
Either party may end the partnership if the other materially breaches these Terms and does not fix the breach within 30 days of written notice. If a Church ends the partnership because of our uncured breach, we will refund any prepaid fees for the unused part of the Term, and no further payments are due.
4.5 Hardship
If a Church closes, merges, or faces a hardship that makes continuing impossible, please tell us. We will work with you in good faith, which may include ending the partnership early or reducing what remains due. Otherwise, fees for the rest of the current Term remain due if a Church ends the partnership early.
4.6 Ending by Multiply
We may pause or end the Services for nonpayment (Section 3.7), for a serious violation of Section 6, or if the law requires it. We may also end a partnership for any other reason by giving 60 days' written notice. In that case we will refund any prepaid fees for the unused part of the Term, and no further payments are due.
4.7 Refunds
Except as stated in this Section 4, in Section 3.9, or as required by law, fees are nonrefundable and monthly payments are not prorated.
4.8 After a Partnership Ends
When a partnership ends, the Church's Experiences are taken offline. For 30 days afterward, the Administrator may ask us for a copy of the Church Content and the Participant Content we hold for that Church. After 90 days, we delete that information, except where the law requires us to keep it and except for routine backups, which are overwritten on their normal schedule.
5. Our Services and Your Part
5.1 What We Do
Multiply is fully managed. We build, host, and maintain the Experiences included in your Plan, deliver the reports it includes, and hold the strategy sessions it includes.
5.2 What the Church Does
- Share sermons and other content on the schedule we agree on
- Review Experiences when we ask, and tell us about anything that needs to change
- Keep a named Administrator in place
- If your Experiences use a web address on your own domain (for example, go.yourchurch.org), keep that address pointed where we instruct
5.3 Rights to Church Content
The Church confirms that it owns or has permission to use the Church Content it gives us, including any music, video, images, and published translations that appear in its sermons. We may remove content we reasonably believe infringes someone else's rights.
5.4 Testimonies and Personal Stories
Experiences that collect testimonies include a step asking the Participant for permission to share their story. The Church agrees not to publish or share a Participant's story, name, image, or voice beyond what that person agreed to, and to get a parent's or guardian's permission for anyone under 18.
5.5 Availability
We work to keep Experiences available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may pause Experiences briefly for maintenance or updates.
6. Acceptable Use
6.1 What Is Not Allowed
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with Christian values. You will not:
- Use the Services to promote content that contradicts biblical teaching or Christian values
- Upload or share content that is hateful, discriminatory, violent, obscene, or sexually explicit
- Harass, bully, threaten, or harm anyone
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or compromise the security of the Services
- Use bots, scrapers, or other automated tools to access the Services without permission
- Share administrator links or reports with people who should not have them
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Services without written permission from Multiply
- Remove or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notice
6.2 Community Guidelines
We expect everyone who uses the Services to act with respect, kindness, and integrity. Content and interactions should:
- Honor God: Reflect biblical principles and build up the body of Christ
- Build up others: Encourage spiritual growth and unity
- Speak truth in love: Communicate with grace, even in disagreement
- Protect the vulnerable: Keep the Services safe for people of every age and background
7. Content and Intellectual Property
7.1 You Keep Ownership
The Church owns its Church Content, and each Participant owns their Participant Content. Multiply does not claim ownership of your sermons, teaching, stories, or other original material.
7.2 Permission to Use Your Content
You give Multiply a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, copy, adapt (for example, into summaries, discussion guides, and prompts), display, and distribute Church Content and Participant Content, only to:
- Provide and improve the Services
- Build Experiences and reports for the Church
- Meet our legal obligations
We may pass this permission only to service providers who help us deliver the Services. We will use Church Content, Participant Content, or a Church's name in our marketing only with written permission. This license ends when the partnership ends, subject to Section 4.8.
7.3 Multiply's Intellectual Property
The Multiply platform, including its designs, templates, assessments (including Ministry Fit), software, logos, and trademarks, belongs to Multiply Mission LLC. While a partnership is active, the Church may use the Experiences we build for it in its ministry. The underlying templates, tools, and software remain ours, and you may not copy them or create derivative works from them without written permission.
7.4 Feedback
If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them to improve the Services without any obligation to you.
8. AI-Assisted Content
We use artificial intelligence tools to help draft parts of Experiences, such as summaries, discussion questions, and prompts. Our team reviews what we build, and you can ask for changes at any time. AI-assisted content can contain mistakes and is not a substitute for pastoral judgment. Church Content and Participant Content are not used to train third-party AI models without your explicit consent.
9. Reports and Results
Reports, analytics digests, and planning tools on our website (such as our "How many people would it take?" calculator) are estimates based on the information available to us. They are not guarantees of attendance, giving, engagement, or any other result.
10. Third-Party Services
The Services work alongside services run by others, such as scheduling tools, video platforms, and payment processors. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.
11. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent the law allows, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nothing in the Services is legal, financial, medical, or counseling advice.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- Neither party is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data.
- Multiply's total liability for any claim related to the Services is limited to the fees the Church paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. For anyone who has not paid us fees, it is limited to $100.
These limits do not apply to a Church's obligation to pay fees or to its obligations under Section 13.
13. Indemnification
The Church agrees to defend and hold harmless Multiply and its members, employees, and contractors from third-party claims arising from the Church Content, the Church's violation of these Terms, or the Church's publishing of Participant Content without the permission described in Section 5.4.
14. Disputes and Governing Law
If a disagreement arises, we ask that both parties first try to resolve it directly and in good faith for at least 30 days before starting any legal action. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any legal action will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida, and both parties consent to those courts' jurisdiction.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and change the "Last Updated" date. If a change materially affects active Churches, we will email the Administrator at least 30 days before it takes effect. Changes never alter the price of a Term already underway.
16. General
- Entire agreement: These Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any written proposal or agreement between Multiply and a Church are the full agreement between us. If a written agreement conflicts with these Terms, the written agreement controls.
- Severability: If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
- No waiver: Not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
- Assignment: A Church may not transfer its partnership without our written consent. We may transfer these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to the Church.
- Events beyond control: Neither party is responsible for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control, except for payment obligations.
- Notices: We send notices to the Administrator's email address on file. Send notices to us at support@multiplymission.org.
- Relationship: Multiply and each Church are independent parties. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, agency, or joint venture relationship.
