Terms of Service

Welcome to Multiply Mission ("Multiply," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website (multiplymission.org) and discipleship platform services (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Services.

1. Definitions

For purposes of these Terms:

• "Church" or "Organization" refers to the church, ministry, or faith-based organization that subscribes to Multiply's Services.
• "Administrator" refers to the church leader, pastor, or designated representative authorized to manage the Organization's account.
• "Member" or "User" refers to individual church members who participate in discipleship pathways created by their Organization.
• "Content" refers to all materials available through the Services, including sermons, videos, text, images, graphics, and user-generated content.
• "Pathway" refers to a structured discipleship journey created within the Multiply platform, typically based on a sermon and including Learn, Connect, and Live Out stages.
• "Subscription" refers to the paid service plan selected by the Organization (Starter, Growth, or Impact).

2. Eligibility and Account Registration

2.1 Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Services. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you must have permission from a parent or guardian. Users under 13 are prohibited from using the Services in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

2.2 Church Account Registration

To subscribe to Multiply, your Organization must:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Designate an Administrator with authority to bind the Organization to these Terms
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach

2.3 Member Registration

Individual Members may be invited by their Organization to join pathways. Members agree to:

• Provide accurate personal information
• Use the Services only for their intended purpose—spiritual growth and discipleship
• Keep login credentials confidential
• Notify their Administrator or Multiply of any account issues

2.4 Referral-Only Access

Multiply operates on a referral-only basis to build a trusted, values-aligned community. New Organizations must be referred by an existing Multiply church or invited directly by our team. This approach ensures quality, mutual support, and shared commitment to our mission.

3. Subscription Plans and Payment

3.1 Service Plans

Multiply offers the following subscription plans:

3.2 Setup Fee

A one-time $500 setup fee applies to all new subscriptions, covering personalized onboarding, training, and technical configuration. This fee is fully waived for referrals who join within 30 days of their referral.

3.3 Payment Terms

• Annual subscriptions: Payment is due upfront for the full year.
• Month-to-month subscriptions: Payment is charged monthly and will auto-renew unless canceled.
• Payment methods: We accept major credit cards, ACH transfers, and invoicing for annual plans.
• Late payments: Accounts with payments more than 15 days overdue may be suspended until payment is received.

3.4 Automatic Renewal

Unless you cancel before the end of your Subscription Term, your subscription will automatically renew for successive periods (annual or monthly, depending on your plan). You will be charged the then-current rate unless otherwise agreed.

3.5 Cancellation and Refunds

• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at support@multiplymission.org. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: Annual subscriptions are non-refundable except as required by law or in cases of extraordinary circumstances evaluated at our sole discretion. Month-to-month subscriptions are not prorated for partial months.
• Setup fee: The $500 setup fee (when applicable) is non-refundable.

4. Use of Services

4.1 License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Multiply grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for your Organization's internal discipleship purposes.

4.2 Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with Christian values. You will NOT:

• Use the Services to promote content that contradicts biblical teachings or Christian values
• Upload or share content that is hateful, discriminatory, violent, obscene, or sexually explicit
• Harass, bully, threaten, or harm other users
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or compromise the security of the Services
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Services without permission
• Share your account credentials with unauthorized individuals or organizations
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Services without written consent from Multiply
• Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices (copyrights, trademarks) on the Services

4.3 Community Guidelines

As a faith-based platform, we expect all users to conduct themselves with respect, kindness, and integrity. Content and interactions should:

• Honor God: Reflect biblical principles and edify the body of Christ
• Build up others: Encourage spiritual growth and community unity
• Speak truth in love: Communicate with grace, even in disagreement
• Protect the vulnerable: Create a safe environment for all ages and backgrounds

5. User Content and Intellectual Property

5.1 Your Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you create and upload to Multiply, including:

• Sermon videos and audio
• Testimony videos and stories
• Photos, graphics, and written materials
• Discussion responses and reflections
• Any other user-generated content ("User Content")

Multiply does not claim ownership of your sermons, teachings, or original materials.

5.2 License to Multiply

By uploading User Content to the Services, you grant Multiply a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, store, display, distribute, and process your User Content solely for the purposes of:

• Providing and improving the Services
• Creating discipleship pathways and AI-generated prompts
• Displaying content within your church community
• Creating analytics and impact reports
• Marketing Multiply's Services (only with your explicit permission)

This license terminates when you delete your content or close your account, except for content that has been shared with other users or is retained in backups for a reasonable period.

5.3 Multiply's Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the Multiply platform, including its design, features, software, logos, trademarks, and proprietary technology, belong exclusively to Multiply Mission. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works based on our platform without written permission.
