Start here each week. The card below changes with your stage. The staff reading underneath stays the same every Monday.
The 10-minute staff reading
12 minutes
Metric of the week
Which one number moved most? Celebrate it or diagnose it, then give it one owner who follows up before Friday. One metric, one action, one owner.
23 minutes
Testimony of the week
Read one aloud to the whole team. Ask: what does this tell us about where God is moving? And should it be shared publicly, and when?
32 minutes
Triage flag
Is anything falling or stuck? Name it without alarm. Who will reach out, by when, and what will they say? The data finds the person. The meeting assigns the shepherd.
43 minutes
Prayer
Pray for the person behind the testimony, for the people who went quiet, and for new members partway through their welcome journey. The digest gives you names. Prayer gives them to God.
Every range below reflects the attendance and stage you set at the top. Open a metric for what it counts, what it can't tell you, and the pastoral move when it stalls.
Every rate is a share of your active participants: the people who receive the weekly step. The Stage Progression Gap (Metric 10) is your Learn rate minus your Live It Out rate, measured in points.
One scale for Learn: the status words (healthy, getting there, needs attention) are the weekly reading, and the five Movement Spectrum conditions are the same lines applied to your whole church. Below 20% is needs attention and Dormant. 20% to 40% is getting there and Emerging. 40% and up is healthy, and the Spectrum splits that range into Growing, Moving, and Multiplying.
Something looks off
Find the cause. Make this week's move.
Start with the symptom you're seeing. For a fuller picture, take the five-question diagnostic to see where your church sits on the Movement Spectrum.

Tell the story
Data without story is just numbers.
Story without data is just anecdote. A specific testimony inside a real trend is the strongest thing a pastor can bring to a room. Highlighted blanks are for your own numbers.
Lines worth borrowing
The shepherd who counts
A shepherd doesn't count his sheep to feel important. He counts because he loves each one, and because the number 100 is never complete when one is missing. The counting is love, expressed in arithmetic.
Your digest is a tool for counting in love. It tells you how many came back to the message this week because each of those people matters, not because the percentage looks good in a board report. It surfaces the story of someone who finally called an estranged parent because a Live It Out step gave them courage, because that story belongs in front of the whole church, not in a database.
