How do I know if Multiply will want to work with my church?
That's an honest question and it deserves an honest answer. Leslie is deliberate about who he partners with. The discovery process — the three voices, the conversations, the portrait — surfaces information that helps both sides make a clear-eyed decision. How much a church needs Multiply is not the primary filter. What matters is whether the leadership is healthy, the environment is honest, and the church is genuinely ready to do this work together. If it's not the right fit, Leslie will say so plainly and with care — and you'll keep everything produced along the way.
How is this different from other church software I've tried?
Most church software hands you a login and a help center. Multiply builds with you, not for you. The discovery process, the three voices, the Ministry Portrait, the Ministry Champion — all of it exists because we know that software without the right foundation fails. We don't win because of features. We win because we understand your church before we build anything in it.
What is a Ministry Champion and do I have to have one?
The Ministry Champion is the single most important non-technical variable in the 30-day experience. Their primary role is to be an avid student of their congregation for 30 days — noticing who engages, who doesn't, and what people are saying informally about the experience. They are not a tech coordinator. Multiply trains them and gives them everything they need. You identify and mobilize the person. Yes — this role is required. It's what makes the difference between a case study and a generic report.
What if we don't have a tech-savvy team?
Good. This isn't a tech project. The technical build is entirely handled by Multiply based on your ministry objective. What you need from your team is presence and attention — someone who is trusted by your congregation and willing to pay careful attention for 30 days. No coding. No dashboards. No tech onboarding.
What happens if I don't love it after 30 days?
You keep everything. The Ministry Portrait, the 30-Day Success Plan, and the Case Study belong to your church regardless of what you decide. The Partner Circle invitation comes at Day 30 — it is never pressure. If Multiply isn't the right fit, we'll tell you honestly, and you'll leave with more clarity about your congregation than you had before. That matters to us.
What is the Ministry Portrait?
The Ministry Portrait is a co-creation document that arrives in your inbox before the Alignment Call. It's built from two things: what you said in the Discovery Call, and what three voices inside your congregation told us — a church leader, a congregation member, and someone at the edges of your community. It arrives intentionally unfinished, with sections left for us to complete together. It is not a report. It is a portrait — written in your language, reflecting your church back to you so you can see it clearly.
