Launch Guide 4 · Welcome Lounge
Your church's front door, launched.
Every guest gets a clear next step. Every prayer request gets a person. We expect your Lounge to be launched within 21 days of delivery, with a team of two or three.
What is inside
Everything your team needs
Three files, one session. Open them here, or download them to print.
Launch checklist
Tick each box from before day 0 to day 14. Write names in the blanks.
Team deck
For the owner, the backup and the sponsor. Walk it together in one sitting.
Leader notes
What to say, what to ask, and how long to take on each slide.
The idea
One front door, three jobs
The Lounge is more than a prayer form. It is one link that welcomes a guest, points them to their next step, and makes sure someone hears them.
Hear
A short welcome video in the pastor's own voice tells a guest they belong here.
Choose
A Choose Your Next Step page with cards that lead to the church's systems. Each guest picks what fits.
Be heard
A prayer request form. The request goes to a named person, who replies within 48 hours.
Choose your next step
Four cards, one rule
Each card points to a system your church runs. Plans decide which cards exist.
This week's sermon
The sermon as a micro-course. Multiply keeps it current.
Ministry Fit
Helps a member find where they can serve.
New Member Journey
A guided first month for new guests and members.
Member Stories
Stories members share, shown as pastoral care.
Your team
Three people, three small jobs
Two or three people are enough. Name them before day 0.
Owner
Also the prayer receiver. Checks the inbox every day, about ten minutes. Replies personally, the way the guest asked: email, text or call. Taps I replied.
Backup
Copied on every request. Steps in when the owner is away, and gets the reminder if a request waits.
Sponsor
The pastor or a staff leader. Records the welcome video, announces the Lounge once in person, and reads one short summary on day 14. Does not see the requests.
The timeline
Your first weeks
From delivered, to launched, to established.
Hand off and wire it
Owner and backup each tap a test email. Everyone checks that the pastor video plays, the sermon card is current, and the Ministry Fit card opens.
Send one test request
Use the live page with ?test=yes on the link. Both inboxes get it. Tap a button. Check that the reply is warm and personal.
Tell people where it is
Put the link on the connection card, QR code or service screen. The sponsor announces it once in person.
Check and report
Did a guest use the page? Was every request answered within 48 hours? Send the sponsor a short summary of the counts.
Launched
All four checks below pass. Starter churches have 21 days from delivery.
The rhythm holds
The Lounge runs without Multiply doing the work. Established is day 60 after launch for Starter and day 90 for Growth.
The launch test
Launched means four things
All four, and the Lounge is launched.
Owner
One person named and walked through it.
Entry point
Told in person and linked on the card, QR code or screen.
First use
One real guest, not a team member, took a next step: watched the video, opened a card or sent a request.
Loop closed
A real request answered within 48 hours. If none came in, a rehearsal request answered within 48 hours, logged.
On the Growth plan? There is more to switch on.
- New Member Journey and Member Stories cards. Each goes on after its own system has launched.
- Leadership Layer. Check that the guides link shows on each sermon page and that a group leader has it.
- Timing. The Growth launch window is 28 days from delivery.
Questions
Common questions
Someone with a steady daily rhythm and a pastoral heart. It does not have to be the pastor. The owner is also the prayer receiver, so use a named person's own inbox, not a shared one.
No. The sponsor does not see the requests. They announce the Lounge once, record the welcome video, and read a short summary of counts on day 14.
The backup is copied on every request. At the handoff call the owner names the days they will be away, and the backup confirms they can cover them. If a request waits 36 hours, one reminder email goes to both.
Only to the owner's and the backup's inboxes. The request is not saved in Multiply. Multiply sees counts, not names or words. Delete the email once the person has been cared for.
Not someone who sends a prayer request. Only your owner replies, as a person. Other pages, such as the story form or a mid-week reminder on a sermon page, email a guest only if the guest types an email address on purpose.
That is fine. A rehearsal request that is answered within 48 hours and logged closes the loop for the launch test. We would rather you prove the loop works than wait for someone to be in need.
Yes, and that is the rule. A card goes on only after its own system has launched. Cards for systems you do not have stay off.
Open the link in a private or incognito window. It happens when your browser is signed in to more than one Google account. Both the owner and the backup should try this on day 0.
Starter is delivered within 7 days of Multiply having everything from you, and Growth within 14 days. The launch window then runs 21 days for Starter and 28 days for Growth.
If it stalls
Behind? That happens. Here is the plan.
It is usually the owner's time, not the product. A person from Multiply checks in three days before your window ends, and calls at the end if you have not launched. You choose one of three paths.
Set a new date
Pick a launch date that fits the owner's real calendar. We hold you to it kindly.
Shrink the scope
Launch the smallest version that passes the test: the video, one card and the prayer loop.
Pause, with a date
Stop for now and name the day we revisit. After two missed windows we pause and record why.
Before you call us, check these. Is the owner named? Did both inboxes receive the test email? Is the link on a card, a QR code or the screen? Has the sponsor announced it once?
Name your three people. Then open the checklist.
One session, a few days of wiring, and your front door is open.
