Launch Guide 3 · Testimony Library
Stories that show people what God is doing here
Every story a member shares, kept with care and shown with permission. Here is how your team launches the Testimony Library in about two weeks, without it landing on one person's shoulders. We expect it to be launched when a real member's story comes in with permission and a person at your church follows up.
Start here
Which one are you?
Pick your part. You will see only what you need.
Your job: about 15 minutes a week
You are the safe keeper of every story. Nothing goes public until you say so.
- Get the email when a new story comes in. It waits as a pending row only your team can see.
- Call the member within 3 days, and tell them the decision within 7.
- Publish after review, and set a story to withdrawn if a member changes their mind.
- Send one spotlight a week, only from a story where sharing is allowed.
Your part: one meeting, then 5 to 10 minutes a week
- Helper (about 10 minutes a week): gets videos from members, drops them in your church folder, and covers when the owner is away.
- Sponsor (about 5 minutes a week): a pastor or staff member. Asks for stories from the pulpit and hears anything sensitive.
Why this matters
People trust a library of stories when they know how it is kept. We expect your members to share more freely when every one of them hears the same promise: shown only with permission, and removed on request.
Your part: ask for stories from the pulpit, and be the person who hears anything sensitive. About 5 minutes a week.
Your first 7 days
Three moves in the first week
If you have no stories yet, that is the normal place to start. One story is enough for the first week.
Day 0: the handoff call
30 minutes with your owner and helper. Walk the sheet, the folder and the email.
Ask for one story in person
Ask someone you already know, with the library link in hand. The team slides have a practice call to make the first ask easy.
First story, first call
When the first story arrives, the owner contacts the member within 3 days.

How a story gets in
Ask, permission, video, review, share
A story is never public by accident. A person on your team publishes it.
Ask in person
Ask in person, with the library link in hand.
The member fills out the form
Three boxes are required.
Record together, or they send one
Your helper handles the file.
Contact within 3 days, decide within 7
Tell the member the decision within 7 days.
One story a week
Only if the member allowed sharing.
The promise in action
A story is never public by accident
Three states, and a clear next move for your owner in each one.
Try it
See what a member hears
A made up member, Grace, shared a story. Pick where the story stands, and whether she allowed sharing. Nothing is sent or saved.
Sample for a made up member. Your real stories live in your own sheet and folder.
What every member hears
Your story is shown only with your permission. You can ask us to take it down at any time, and we will remove it within 7 days.
This promise is why people trust the library. Your team should be able to say it from memory.
Your timeline
Delivered, launched, established
Three stages, and each one has a clear owner.
Delivered
We build it in your brand, test it end to end, and hold a 30 minute handoff call with your owner and helper.
Launched
A real member shared a new story through the form, and a person at your church followed up. You pass the four-part test below.
Established
The weekly rhythm happens without reminders. Thirty days after launch, we check in by call or email.
The clock starts when all your inputs are in. If you are not launched by day 14, Multiply calls and you choose: a new date, a smaller scope, or a pause.
The launch test
Four things have to be true
If you can say yes to all four, you are launched.
Owner
One named person runs it and has walked through the sheet, the folder and the email.
Entry point
You asked for stories in person at least once, and members have the library link.
First use
One new story came in through the form with all three permission boxes checked.
Loop closed
The member was contacted within 3 days and told the decision within 7.
The weekly rhythm
Fifteen minutes, one day a week
The path is built for you. The follow-through is yours, and it is small and steady.
days. Every member hears the decision on their story within 7 days.
Count
How many stories are pending?
Clear
Start with the oldest, so no one waits.
Send
Pick one story where sharing is allowed and send the three-line spotlight.
Fifteen minutes, one day a week. The owner leads it. The spotlight is what you already send: a text group, an email or the bulletin.
Your team
Three people, about 30 minutes a week together
Owner
Gets the email, calls the member, publishes, sends the weekly spotlight and handles takedowns.
Helper
Gets videos from members, drops them in your church folder, and covers when the owner is away.
Sponsor
A pastor or staff member. Asks for stories from the pulpit and hears anything sensitive.
If it stalls
Missing a window is not failing.
It is usually owner time, not the product. On day 11 you get a call or email from us. On day 14, if you have not launched, we call. A person does the follow-up, never an automatic email.
Set a new date
If a member is still in the loop, choose a new launch date together.
Shrink the scope
Pick the smallest version that passes the launch test. One story, one owner, one helper.
Pause with a date
Pick a day to come back. After two missed windows, we pause and write down why together.
Owner overwhelmed? Call the helper first. Then tell Multiply. You will not be left alone with it.
