Before anyone spends a dollar or commits to a call, we want you to know. This exercise takes one Sunday and 72 hours — and tells you exactly where your church is.

An honest note: Not every church is ready for Multiply in every season. That's not a limitation — it's how this works. The more honest you are here, the more useful this becomes.

The Live It Out exercise

What it is

After any Sunday service, your church sends one short message to your active member list. The message invites people to click a link and share one specific way they plan to live out Sunday's word during the week.

You track the response rate over 72 hours. That number tells us where you are — honestly — and what the right next step looks like. It takes two minutes to set up. The rest runs itself.

Why 72 hours?

Sunday to Wednesday gives your people a full workday Monday, a catch-up Tuesday, and a natural midweek moment. Most responses come in the first 24 hours — but 72 hours captures the full picture and is more forgiving of slower-moving lists. Come back Wednesday with your numbers.

If you're unsure, start with text — reply rates are almost always higher. If you do send both, count only the channel with the larger list, and only count unique respondents once.

An 8–19% response rate is a healthy signal. A short prep season — 6 to 12 weeks of intentional engagement work — will get you to full readiness. This is not a disqualification. It's a clear path forward.

A response rate under 8% tells us the habit of two-way engagement hasn't formed yet. Bringing Multiply in right now would add complexity without bearing much fruit. But this is not a permanent door closed — every church in this band has a path forward, and we'll walk alongside you through it.
