What would it take?
How many people would need to stay connected for Multiply to pay for itself. Two numbers and a plan, and you have a figure to bring to the table.
Filled in with a sample church of 120. Put in your own numbers if you have them.
Bring this number to the committee meeting. At 7 people, the Starter plan pays for itself.
Do we already have 7 people drifting who we’d want to keep?
How it works. Each person is assumed to give like your average attender: your budget times 81% (the average share of church revenue that comes from individual giving, per the National Study of Congregations’ Economic Practices, 2019), divided by weekly attendance. The plan’s yearly cost divided by that amount, rounded up, is the number above. It isn’t a promise of results. It’s the threshold you can hold us to.
Where things stand
The proposal, the working session recording, and a live Sermon Experience are all here. Nothing else is needed from us to begin.
Pastor McFarland is sharing the working session recording with the team. It is the best place to start and covers the whole conversation.
When the committees have reviewed it, along with the two comparison quotes your procurement policy calls for, we will find a time to walk through their questions together. No deadline from our side.
Our sole business is soul business. Infrastructure for it should never get in the way.
